YATELEY RECYCLING & HOUSEHOLD RUBBISH
There are three domestic points covering Yateley recycling: Springwell Lane, Hartley Wintney, Hook (RG27 8BW), Eelmoor Road, Farnborough (GU14 7QN) and Ivy Road, Aldershot (GU12 4UA). All sites are open 7 days a week, all year except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The sites are run by Hampshire County Council. They accept all household waste, with some restrictions on quantity but they will not accept the following: Car tyres, explosives, ammunition, flares, Japanese knotweed, medicine and petrol, diesel or paraffin.
Hook, Farnborough and Aldershot tip opening hours:
- 1 March – 31 March – 8am – 5pm
- 1 April – 30 September – 8am – 7pm
- 1 October – 28 February – 8am – 4pm
TRADE WASTE DISPOSAL & BULKY WASTE COLLECTION
If you’re removing rubbish from your house, especially if it’s from DIY work, then it may be classed as trade waste and the council may refuse to accept it, they may however be able to collect and dispose of it for you for a small fee.
